LG MAIL-BACK 

If you have an LG product, you may use this program to return your device for certified recycling. 

LG encourages consumers to take additional steps to destroy all personal and confidential data before recycling electronics. Consumers should remove all personal data from their electronic equipment by:

  • Backing up or transferring any data before deletion and removing removable media, such as diskettes, CDs, or PC cards.
  • Consult your product's user manual or manufacturer's website for information on factory reset buttons or reconfiguration menus.
  • Using software programs designed for data erasure, such as DBAN Hard Drive Eraser and Eraser,

If you need help with removing personal data, there are data-erasure software options available to the public. We're happy to help if you need assistance. 

How do I know I am eligible to participate in the Dynamic LG mail-back program?
If you live in the United States and have an LG electronic device you are eligible to participate in this program. 

Do I have to pay for this service?
No, you do not have to pay to participate in recycling your LG material. The mail-back program covers all shipping and recycling costs. A Dynamic team member will be in touch and send all the material you'll need for shipping. 

I need help with erasing data from my device. Can you help with that?
Yes, we can absolutely help. Please fill out the form and we will point you in the right direction.

What if my device is broken? Can I still send it?
Yes, absolutely. That's a sure sign your device needs to be properly recycled. Please let us know that it is damaged. We will provide you with all the supplies you will need to support the return. 

 

Batteries and Battery Containing Devices

Devices that contain batteries should be packed in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices, which typically include the guidelines below:

  • Loose batteries should not be returned through this program. Learn more about how to recycle batteries here.
  • A device with swollen, damaged, or defective batteries should not be shipped.
  • Only one device per box.
  • The device should be completely powered off and packed in a way to prevent accidental activation.
  • The device should have less than a 30% charge.
  • The device should be intact, not in pieces (battery not exposed).


District of Columbia Residents: LG has extended its mail-back program to include other manufacturers' devices if you've recently purchased an LG product as a replacement. For example, if you've replaced a broken TV with a new LG TV, you are welcome to recycle the previous one regardless of the manufacturer.

Maryland Residents: Consumers are highly encouraged to delete all data from their devices prior to recycling. Suggested practices are mentioned above. A Dynamic team member is happy to help if you need any assistance.

Michigan Residents: Consumers with questions regarding LG’s program or who wish to request free packaging can email

Missouri Residents: Consumers can return LG branded products for recycling free of charge. For additional information about the Missouri electronics recycling program, please visit the E-Cycle Missouri website.

New York Residents: LG has extended its mail-back program to include other manufacturers' devices if you've recently purchased an LG product as a replacement. For example, if you've replaced a broken TV with a new LG TV, you are welcome to recycle the previous one regardless of the manufacturer.
